The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), regulates the processing of personal data in commercial transactions and it applies to Rahmah & Hajar, a partnership with its address of business at RF19, 1st Floor, Kelana Sentral Apartment, No. 1 Jalan Bahagia, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”). This written notice containing rights and obligations as prescribed in the Act is hereby served to you as subject data:-
1. Notice: This written notice serves to inform you that your personal data is being processed by or on behalf of Rahmah & Hajar
2. Source & Description of Personal Data: Your personal data is/will be collected from you and from the information you have provided to us via emails, telephone conversations and/or any form of correspondences with us. The personal data processed by us may include but not limited to your name, national identity card no., passport no., contact no., address, email address, designation, company name, bank account, salary & income tax no., and such other similar information pertaining your spouse or family members.
3. Purposes: We shall process your personal data, including any additional information you may subsequently provide for purposes of providing you (or your employer) with our legal and and/or company secretarial services and any matter in connection thereto including but not limited to;-
(a) to make a contract upon your request and to perform a contract where you are a party to it;
(b) to protect your vital interests;
(c) to comply with obligations under the laws where you are subjected to;
(d) to administer justice and to carry out functions conferred upon any person or under any laws;
You have the right to prevent processing of your own personal data to Purposes that is likely to cause you damage or distress or for Purposes of direct marketing.
4. Consent: The provision of your personal data is voluntary. Rahmah & Hajar and all persons involved in providing services by Rahmah & Hajar may only process your personal data upon obtaining your consent. If you do not consent to Rahmah & Hajar processing your personal data, please notify us by completing and returning to us the Withdrawal Form failing which we shall consider you have consented to us processing your personal data in accordance with our notice herein.
5. Data Access, Correction, Inquiry and/or Complaint: You may access, correct, inquire and/or complaint of your personal data by contacting us at +603-7805 2920/21. In accordance with the Act:-
(a) we may charge a prescribed fees for processing your request; and
(b) we may refuse to comply with your request by informing you in writing.
6. Disclosure: Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties requested or authorised by you for any of the above Purposes or any other Purposes.
7. Data Integrity: You are responsible to ensure that all the personal data provided to us are accurate, complete and not in any way misleading and at all material times up to date. We may request your assistance to procure the consent of third parties whose personal data is provided by you to us and you agree to use your best endeavour to do so.
8. Transfer of Data: Your data may be transferred to a place outside Malaysia.
9. Right to Vary: We reserve our right to modify, update or amend the terms of this written notice at any time by placing the updated written notice in our premise. By continuing to communicate with Rahmah & Hajar or by continuing to use Rahmah & Hajar’ s services following the modifications, updates or amendments to this written notice shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.
